We had a delightful time! Our stay was more than perfect- we loved it all! Our kids felt at home, loved the big yard, and we even made smores- despite the fact that it was hot outside.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in the May Cottage. We are planning on making this a tradition in our family. The pageant was great- we had the best seats in the house! ~WP I just loved my visit to Manti and especially staying at the historic May Cottage. It was beautiful! The location can't be beat - right across from the magnificent Manti Temple with a view from every window. The cottage is furnished to make it so comfortable and cozy that you don't even want to leave. I have told many people about it and will continue to do so because it is truly a gem! I was there with friends and we enjoyed our stay but I really look forward to returning with my family. I just loved it there! ~Margo Wilson
Just wanted to send you a note and tell you how much we enjoyed our stay
in the cottage. My husband and I had a great time. It was funny...we walked into May Cottage and it was like being home. We felt so much at home that we didn’t hardly go anywhere while we were there. What a relaxing place. The furniture was comfortable and it was great to have a place to cook and wash. My husband was very taken with the cottage and took lots of pictures of it. (I run my own house cleaning company and was really impressed with how clean everything was.) We really want to come back next year and stay again. I’ve never stayed somewhere else where I have felt so much at ease. Thanks again for the wonderful time. May Cottage made our anniversary very special. ~Rachael Kippen
Thanks for sharing your wonderful cottage. A lot of people stopped and looked at it before the show on Saturday, and some came and peeked in through the windows, so word will be getting around that there is a fun place to stay right there, across from the temple (we also got alot of envious looks from people who saw us on the balcony.) :)
The kids have asked when we can go again, my three teens want to go and do baptisms, so you will hear from us again soon. ~BW |
My new husband and I stayed in the beautiful May Cottage for our honeymoon getaway and absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is newly refurbished and beautifully decorated. It has a homey, warm feeling that made us never want to leave. The cottage is in perfect repair, and very clean! During our stay we felt at home, away from home. While vacationing at May Cottage we explored the town of Manti, Utah and truly fell in love with it. The quaint shops, friendly atmosphere and locally-owned restaurants are really enjoyable. Nearby, there is a state park where they have paddle boating, canoeing and other recreational activities. Our favorite part was being so close to the LDS Manti Temple, which is directly across the street. We loved seeing the glowing temple through the Cottage windows every night, and walking there to picnic on the temple lawn in the evening. I would highly recommend May Cottage to anyone who is looking for a quiet vacation spot. ~Karli & Ryan Harvey
We had a wonderful evening at your lovely cottage. Thank you for providing such a clean environment for your guests. We definitely want to return some time. ~Cristie Carter
My first visit to May Cottage was with a group of friends, and I found it to be even more charming than it was in the pictures. It is very cozy, clean, and inviting. The owner paid close attention to detail while renovating it and the result is amazing! I loved the Temple views–especially from the upstairs balcony. I was so enchanted with the cottage that I wanted to share it with my family and have booked it for a night during the Manti Pageant in June! ~Corri Burton
How fun to see the cottage on Trek Story. This was my Grandmothers home. It would be so much fun to stay here the next time we are in Manti. My Dad was really surprised when he caught it on the BYU channel. He was thrilled to know how well the old house has been taken care of. Grandma May only had 2 sons. My uncle Jim May passed away about 6 years ago. My dad John D. May is now 77 yrs.old. Grandma May has 10 grand children and I think about 50ish great-grand children.
Thank you for sharing your story. ~Klea J.(May) Ford We enjoyed our stay at May Cottage this last weekend. What a wonderful and warming cottage you have. Manti City has so much culture and history to offer. We would love for you to let us know when the Mormon Pageant releases their dates. Thank you once again, and
we look forward to staying at the cottage again. ~P & A Oliveira |
